French "art de vivre" Still exist.
A wonderfull panorama of what France was offering before ’nouvelle cuisine", generous colourfull, tasty plates. Proper winelist, kind and efficient brigade. Excellent value for money. Booking is a must. Would appreciate music soundtrack in accordance with meals and ambiance. A top in Toulouse. English spoken. PRM welcome.
Good old French bistro serving quality meat and traditional dishes is a classical French old styled restaurant at reasonable prices.
Service is fats and friendly.
I have been coming to this restaurant since many years and every time i am comong to Toulouse it is mandatory to visit this restaurant to get the best steak I ever have had.
I would like to recommend to take cute de boef as main dish and the salad de canere( i hope I am writing that correctly) as starter….
The french frise are perfect and last but nit least the Moise de chocolate as the desert😋😋😋😋😋
Very good quality at normal prices. The duck was delicious!!!
Great service. I was vegan and while there's no vegan/invertebrarian option on the menu they made a nice salad for me. The meat dish my friends got all looked delicious and quite big.
Amazing food. Very polite and cheerful staff! Really enjoyed the atmosphere. We even ordered extra food (sausages and mash) to take away (they had a good laugh), and it was amazing. We will return! Thank you!
Excellent restaurant for a meat lover. Droped in the first night of a two night stay and liked it so much I booked meal for the second evening. The staff are friendly and as a non French speaker they went out of their way to be helpful. Not a real tourist spot and their reasonable prices and authenticity show this. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
Very tasty and with a great atmosphere. A right choice for French, traditional cuisine including local speciality in the region: cassoulet. Great meat. Friendly waiters. Reasonably priced. We also enjoyed the location, slightly on the outskirts of the very centre, close to a picturesque canal.
The food is amazing! Meat speciality. But the house wine is kinda overpriced. All in all, good experience. I recommend it! Average price 25€ per person.
The meat (we're meatatarians) was grilled to perfection and the service was truly next to none. Very nice pairing with our meal (Montus 2005) and the dessert was sublime. Quality throughout. Most recommended.
